KITE ROOF EDGE FREESTANDING PROTECTION SYSTEM is a permanent, modular, self supporting guardrail system that is placed on the flat roof surface, now comprising of Kite's Moulded Recycled Plastic Weights.
A double counterweight assembly which is used in conjunction with all end posts on installations with "free ends". This counterweight is supplied loose for site assembly. Recycled plastic weights have a longer life span and are less susceptible to environmental conditions.
When installed following approved guidelines, KITE Roof Edge Protection System meets the building regulations and health and safety regulations & requirements. System supplied galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461:2009

Kite's run end double weight set price includes all the components required to make it up which are:
- 2 x Recycled Plastic Roof Edge Weight
- 2 x Clamp fitting 179-D to fix the weight to the outrigger
- 1 x outrigger (1200 mm tube)
- 1 x Clamp fiting #104-D
- 1 x Double Weight Tube Connector (500 mm tube)
- 1 x Galvanised Heel Clamp
- 2 x Cradle Clamps
- 1 x upright post (1100 mm tube)
- 1 x Plastic Cap
