Project Details

The roof access safety project at McVitie’s in Carlisle focused on improving safe working access across the factory rooftop environment. The site required a non-penetrative roof edge protection system suitable for ongoing maintenance access while maintaining the integrity of the existing roof structure.

The project was carried out within an active food production facility, requiring a practical and low-maintenance safety solution designed for long-term external performance.

Kite Group then supplied galvanised freestanding roof guardrail systems designed to improve rooftop safety and provide reliable edge protection for ongoing maintenance access across the factory roof area.
