Project Overview

An educational facility in Kent, England, undertook a roof safety enhancement project to improve secure access to the roof of its two-storey school building. The facility features a flat asphalt warm roof, which required a system that maintained both insulation and waterproofing integrity.

The objective was to provide safe access for maintenance personnel working on air-conditioning (AC) units and roof gutter outlets, while achieving full compliance with height-safety standards. The primary challenge lay in identifying a non-penetrative solution that ensured long-term roof protection and visual consistency.

It allows maintenance personnel safe access to AC units and roof gutter outlets, supporting both safety and compliance requirements.
