150 (D) to suit 48.3od Galvanised Tube
Our inline internal tube connector is a galvanised straight clamp fitting for connecting rails of the same size.
This galvanised internal tube connector fitting is to suit our 48.3od galvanised tube as a component of our Freestanding roof edge protection system or TopFix roof edge protection system.
Clamp fitting 149-D, which has superior load characteristics, may sometimes be used as an alternative.
This fitting can only be used for 3.25mm wall thickness tube (1”, 1 1/4” & 1 1/2” BS EN 10255, formerly BS 1387, medium weight) and must not be used as a load bearing joint, particularly for tensile loads.
