Denny Waste Water Treatment Works Project
Kite Group supplied galvanised handrails with return bends at Denny WWT Works, securing access around sludge tanks and ensuring long-term worker safety compliance.
Project Overview
Located near the Winchester Avenue industrial estate, the Denny Waste Water Treatment Works is one of two facilities providing treated and purified water to the town of Denny and its surrounding communities.
The site plays a vital role in maintaining public health and environmental protection, ensuring wastewater is processed safely and effectively.
Did You Know?
As part of its renewable energy strategy, Scottish Water installed 830 photovoltaic solar panels at this site. These panels supply more than one-third of the facility’s annual energy needs and support the UK government’s target of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.
Kite’s Contribution
Kite Group supported Scottish Water’s safety initiative by supplying and installing tubular guard railing systems, return bends, and tubular connectors around the site’s sludge tanks.
- Fall Prevention: Guardrails provided reliable protection against slips and falls near tanks.
- Durable Design: Galvanised finish ensures long-term corrosion resistance in a demanding environment.
- Custom Safety: Return bends created smooth, secure finishes for a safer and more user-friendly system.
Through these installations, Kite delivered a robust, compliant, and long-lasting handrail solution that protects employees and supports safe site operations.
