Situated in Denny, Scotland, close to the Winchester Avenue industrial estate, this wastewater treatment facility is one of two plants responsible for supplying Denny and the surrounding areas with treated and purified water.
DID YOU KNOW?
As part of its renewable energy strategy, Scottish Water has implemented 830 ground-mounted photovoltaic solar panels at the facility. These PV panels have the capacity to provide more than one-third of the site's annual energy needs, contributing significantly to the UK government's goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2030.
KITE'S PART OF THE PROJECT
Kite was pleased to be a part of Denny's safety plan by supplying tubular Guard Railing Systems, Return Bends, and Tubular Connectors around the sludge tanks. These installations enhance safety measures and provide protection to employees, safeguarding them from potential falls.
