As part of their ongoing health and safety commitments under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Sainsbury’s Middlesbrough branch needed a robust handrail system to safeguard staff and engineers working on the mezzanine floor. The goal was to create a secure, low-maintenance solution that would provide safe access for routine checks and maintenance.
